iLab

Over a six-month period, the iLab team worked closely with 150+ researchers across 10 labs two departments to implement an integrated collaboration, data organization and lab management solution. Working closely with administrators, PIs, lab managers and bench researchers, iLab helped the institution to achieve: closely with the community.

  Better-organized, more efficient, and more secure collaborations, including multi-site research with partners in two countries and a 55% increase in the number of projects managed through the iLab service over 4 months

  A significant increase in centralized storage and sharing of data such as images, protocols and lab meeting notes, including a 65% growth in data stored over 4 months
• 
  A large reduction in time required for lab management processes, including 65% of researchers reporting less time spent on requisitioning
• Very high levels of researcher satisfaction, with 84% of users reporting a positive experience
